  7. SAM:Charge makes it easy to collect per-process resource utilization
  8. information on your system and provides accurate breakdowns on the use of
  9. system resources for chargeback purposes and trend analysis.  The SCH
  10. SAM:Charge system can be used by system administrators to manage UNIX
  11. facilities and to uncover programs and heavy resource users.  It may be used
  12. by operators to conduct daily operations and track costs and efficiencies.  It
  13. may also be used by end users to generate reports, track charges, and perform
  14. trend analysis.  Its two main functions are data collection/storage and data
  15. reporting.  SAM:Charge is a member of the SCH:SAM suite; a set of
  16. platform-independent UNIX system management tools.  SCH:SAM is available for
  17. both character and X window (motif) terminals.  SAM:Charge is available as an
  18. individual component or as part of the bundled SCH:Sam suite.
